Originally from Japan, Kaku brings over two decades of international business and investment experience across diverse sectors, including large-scale food manufacturing and trade to Japan, the USA and Australia. His broad expertise extends from the practical aspects of international trade, and multicultural business environments through to SME and family-run businesses . Kaku has lived in New Zealand since 2014, after more than ten years of professional experience in China and Singapore.

After joining MC, Kaku has supported Partners for conducting evidence review/research and preparing court documents in a wide range of civil proceedings including an international joint venture dispute.
