Shimpei (Peter) Sato

Shimpei assists in civil litigation as part of the Private Client team, and provides a wide range of legal advice (immigration, employment, probate, property and company management) in Japanese.

Originally from Japan, Shimpei brings a unique background to MC. Prior to beginning his legal career, he worked at a trading company in Osaka, Japan and a Japanese food importer in Auckland.

Before joining MC, Shimpei worked at a law firm specialised in dealing with Japanese clients for seven years while completing a LLB at Auckland University of Technology. He was involved in immigration, employment, probate, property and business conveyance and company management.
