Ryan Benic

About

Ryan is a prosecutor in the Crown Specialist Group with experience conducting jury trials in the District Court and High Court.

He began his career with the Office of the Crown Solicitor at Whanganui where he prosecuted and assisted in trials involving homicide, serious sexual offending, organised crime and drug offending and regularly appeared on behalf of Police for criminal appeals in the High Court.

Ryan works with the Office of the Director of Military Prosecutions and has experience conducting appeals on behalf of the Firearms Safety Authority - Te Tari Pūreke.
