Samara Wakefield

Samara (Kāi Tahu, Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi) is part of the Crown Specialist Group, undertaking criminal prosecutions on behalf of the Crown. She regularly appears on various criminal matters in Courts across Tāmaki Makaurau. She has experience in a wide range of criminal prosecutions, from lesser offences through to serious sexual offending, violent crime and drug offending.

Before joining MC, Samara worked as a prosecutor for the Police Prosecution Service and before that in civil litigation.
