About

Sarah is a senior Crown prosecutor who has led a wide range of trials in the District and High Courts. She joined MC in 2020, having previously prosecuted under another Crown warrant. Sarah has also conducted appeals on behalf of the Crown in the High Court and Court of Appeal, and regularly appears on instructions from various government departments.

Sarah provides mentoring and training to junior prosecutors at MC, particularly in the areas of evidence, criminal procedure, and the prosecution of sexual offending.

Before starting work as a prosecutor, Sarah interned at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, worked for four years as a defence lawyer at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, and completed a Masters of Bioethics at Harvard University.  Sarah’s articles on the connection between law and science have been published in the Harvard Medical School Bioethics Journal and the Auckland University Law Review.
