Wade Morris

About

Wade is an experienced local government solicitor with a particular focus on civil litigation and regulatory compliance. Wade works with a number of local government clients and enjoys working closely with his clients to solve problems and deliver the best result for the client's ratepayers.

With broad experience in civil litigation, Wade has particular expertise in defective building litigation including in the High Court regarding specialist weathertight homes and also Christchurch Earthquake Insurance Tribunals.

Wade's experience in regulatory compliance has seen him appearing before various Tribunals, as well as seeking civil orders in the District Court on behalf of Councils.

Prior to joining MC, Wade held various in-house counsel roles within both central and local government. 

Wade is based in Christchurch and regularly travels to local government clients around the country.
